Strands Hint

Sitemap: every page on Strands Hint

Strands Hint publishes 934 pages: 20 reference pages, 30 monthly archive indexes and 884 dated puzzle records, one for every NYT Strands puzzle published since March 4, 2024. All of them are listed or reachable below, and the machine-readable version is at /sitemap.xml.

What are today's Strands pages?

These four pages change every day at midnight New York time, when the next puzzle publishes.

Which pages explain how Strands works?

The rules, the spangram and the hint mechanic each live on one page and are linked from everywhere else.

Which pages hold the figures?

Every number on these pages is computed from the solved corpus, not estimated or copied.

Which pages index the whole archive?

These four cut the corpus a different way, so a half-remembered puzzle can be found from whichever end you remember it.

Which pages are about the site itself?

Two pages, one naming who writes this and how the figures are computed, one stating what the site collects.

Where are the 884 dated puzzle pages?

Every published puzzle has one permanent page carrying its theme clue, spangram, answers and the verified board position of every word. They are grouped by the month they published in, and each month below links to all of its days.

What are the most recent Strands records?

The last 30 dated pages are listed here directly, newest first, because they are the ones still being searched for by date rather than by theme.

How often does this sitemap change?

One dated page is added every day at 00:00 New York time, which is also when the archive month for the current month gains a row and the four daily pages change content. The 20 reference pages change only when the underlying corpus does. The corpus itself now holds 884 solved boards and 4072 distinct theme words.
